Motorcyclist Injured Following A1A Wreck in Beverly Beach, Flagler County

On October 12, 2015, Miranda Leese, 21 was injured in a motorcycle accident and taken by ambulance for medical treatment.

Photographs taken by a person in the area of the accident show the motorcycle trapped under the front of a sedan.

The accident happened in front of the campground in Beverly Beach.

Ms. Leese was riding on the back of a motorcycle, wearing a helmet when the driver slowed down to allow some pedestrians to cross State Road A1A. A two door sedan, driven by Stephen McKaig, 18, of Flagler Beach, rear-ended the motorcycle. Ms. Leese sustained a broken arm or wrist.

On this same area of the road, a former Town Commissioner, Edward Hess was killed in August, 2012.

There have been complaints made by town officials and residents about the 45 mph speed limit through the area of town.

As Dayton accident lawyers, Zimmet & Zimmet urges you to drive carefully.
